The resort started welcoming guests since 27th of October 2012. GUSR built as a resort under the shades of green and ingeniously fashioned from the Malabotu Ara, a natural waterway bordering three sides of the property, it preserves the natural ambience and the awe-inspiring quality of the jungle atmosphere with the shade of the stately Kumbuk trees, which were preserved in order to allow the guests of the hotel the coolness and to maintain the healthy quality of the air and water.
One of the most significant feature of the GUSR is its’ picturesque swimming pool. The other significant feature of the GUSR is its’ open air theatre named ‘Wala”. As well as GUSR owned their very very unique facility, built in underground mini film hall. It is very conveniently located with easy access to places such as the Mahinda Rajapaksa Cricket Stadium, the Ruhunu Magampura Mahinda Rajapaksa Port and the Mattala Mahinda Rajapaksa International Airport.

Currently most of them share, read and engage more with GUSR for any kind of content as it’s surfaced through friends and people they know and trust that they could deliver qualitative hospitality service to their guests living up to their motto “Leave Nothing But Footprints..
